Drag bits come in different shapes and can often be made to your specifications when drilling mud, sand, clay or concrete. Givens International can supply you with any size from 1 7/8” to 26”, with either 3 or 4 wings.

Step Bit – for soft to medium formations and rapid penetration

 

Chevron Bit – for more consolidated and slightly harder material than step bits

 

Scratcher Bit – for soft formations and sand
